Open-Air Weekend at Scharfenstein Castle
In the Garden Show year 2026, Scharfenstein Castle becomes an open-air stage: on two evenings in August, international music stars perform against the unique backdrop of the medieval castle.
On Friday, August 7, 2026, The Sweet, Slade, and T. Rex open the open-air weekend with the "Traumhits Summer Open Air". From 6:30 pm, the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s ring out in the atmospheric castle setting – with space for up to 15,000 guests. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, NENA takes the stage with her ten-piece band. In a concert lasting over two hours, she performs hits spanning four decades. Doors open from 8:00 pm. Tickets sold out quickly, but additional tickets were released due to high demand. A shuttle bus transfer from Leinefelde is included in the ticket price, as no parking is available at the castle itself.
